Alessandro Cocquio

Alessandro Cocquio, a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bologna in 1990, has been working in SACMI IMOLA since 1991 and he is actually technical director of Business Unit TILES.

SACMI Group considers that Industry 4.0 is not just a slogan and that it involves a radical rethink of the business and production process.

Therefore, it means above all offering the ceramic manufacturing sector a new way of improving efficiency and competitiveness in international markets.

Juan Ignacio Cantero Ramis

Telecommunications Engineer and Degree in Telematics Engineering from Universidad de Valencia (Valencia, Spain) and Master’s Degree in Industry 4.0 from Peaks Business School and FOMW (Valencia, Spain).

Since 2016, he is programmer in the Area for Industrial Processes of ITC-AICE.

Juan Ignacio Cantero started in 2016 as a programmer in the industrial processes unit. Currently, in addition to software development, he is actively collaborating in the implementation of the European Project CEBRA (Ceramic Brain) and CEBRA++, as well as in other public and private projects related to Industry 4.0. He has participated in communications to congresses and is co-author of the Ceramic Industry Guide 4.0.

Claudio Bizzaglia

Claudio Bizzaglia is the Sales Engineering Director in IRIS CERAMICA GROUP. His knowledge of the ceramic industry began more than 25 years ago, becoming a chemical engineer in Modena (Italy), in the heart of a ceramic land.

He worked with clients worldwide, initially as a technical manager in research and development of product/design and sales of raw materials. He also worked many years in USA as an outsourcing product manager for Dal Tile Corp. and as Director of Laboratory Services for the Tile Council of North America (TCNA). He is a member of multiple industry committees, including ANSI A108, ISO TC-189, where he was also chairman of the TC committee, the international development body for global standards related to ceramic tiles and related materials.

Rubén Mateu

General Manager of Torrecid-Suzhou and Asian Market Manager is an Industrial Technical Engineer from the Universitat Politècnica de València and a Chemical Engineer from the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón. He joined Torrecid in 1998 and began his career in the Export Department.

He has had different responsibilities within Torrecid Group, holding the position of General Manager of Torrecid (Spain) before his current position.

Andrés Hernandez

He is currently the Expansion Director of Grespania. Andrés started his professional career working for 3 years at the consulting branch of PwC where he acquired experience in M&A and Business Operations.

After a two-year break to study his MBA in Barcelona and Tokyo, he joined Grespania as Manager of the Specification Team in 2014. Since then, he has worked as Grespania’s Sales Manager for the US & Japan and as Expansion Director. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering by Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM) and an MBA by IESE Business School.

Noah Chitty

He is the Director of Technical Services for Crossville Inc. located in Crossville, TN. Noah’s knowledge about porcelain tile and the ceramics industry began over 25 years ago while earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Ceramic Engineering from Clemson University and then becoming the Director of Laboratory Services and Standards Development for Tile Council of North America (TCNA). He sits on many industry committees including ANSI A108, ISO TC-189 TAG, TCNA Handbook for Ceramic Tile Installation and the NTCA (National Tile Contractor’s Association) Technical Committee.

He was heavily involved in the development of the product standard for gauged porcelain tile panels, and led the ANSI ad-hoc group charged with creating the A108.19 installation standard for the category. Most recently he has been appointed Chairman of ISO TC-189, the international development body for global standards related to ceramic tile and affiliated materials.

Alberto Echavarría

He has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universitat Politècnica de València and an Executive MBA from the EAE Business School. He has more than 10 years of international experience in business development, Bid Management and international business unit management.

He currently holds the position of Secretary General of the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association and is also a member of the Board of Directors of Industrial Gas, member of the Board of Directors of CEPCO, member of the Board of Directors of the European Ceramic Tiles Manufacturers Federation (CET) and Member of the Board of Directors and member of the Valencian Business Confederation.

José Manrique

With a Degree in Chemical Sciences, he has 26 years of professional experience in the ceramic tile sector.

He is currently Country Manager Ferro Spain y Frit&Glaze Business Manager.

Armando Cafiero

Graduate in Economics with a specialization in Banking, from 1987 to 2008 he worked in Assocarta (the trade association of Italian paper, cardboard, and pulp producers, part of the Confindustria system), where he held the position of Managing Director since 2001.

Since 2008 he is the Managing Director of Confindustria Ceramica. In Italy, this sector employs 31,500 professionals, is worth over €7.4 billion and devotes 75% of its production to international markets.
He is General Manager of Edi.Cer. (a subsidiary of Confindustria Ceramica), which organizes CERSAIE every year.

He has actively worked both at national and international level, participating in Commissions and Working Groups that deal with energy, raw materials and competitiveness of the industrial sectors, at the European Union and the FAO.

He is the CEO of Gas Intensive a.r.l., a consortium promoted by eight industrial associations of gas-intensive sectors, with over 200 member companies.

He is a member of the CET Executive Committee, the European Federation of Ceramic Tile Manufacturers, and a member of the Board of Coverings.


Presidente y Director Ejecutivo de SITI – B&T GROUP S.p.A (Italia

Nació en Formigine (MO) en 1965, en 1990 se graduó por la Universidad de Módena en Economía y Comercio en la especialidad de Economía de Empresa.

En 1991, comenzó una pasantía en la empresa S.C.O.A S.r.l. en el que se ocupa esencialmente de consultoría de negocios. . En 1993 se incorporó al Grupo Barbieri & Tarozzi S.p.A., hoy Grupo Siti-B & T en el cual, en 1997, ocupó el cargo de Director Comercial, desarrollando una actividad de finalización e implementación de la red mundial de ventas. Durante la década de 1990, fue, entre otros, miembro de la Junta Directiva de Carimonte Banca S.p.A. En enero de 2003 fue nombrado Director General, llevando a cabo la fusión entre el Grupo Barbieri & Tarozzi y el Grupo Nassetti de Milán, transformando así a la compañía en un proveedor de líneas completas “llave en mano” para la producción de baldosas cerámicas. En julio de 2007 fue nombrado Director Ejecutivo. También es presidente de Projecta Engineering S.r.l y FoShan SITI B&T Ceramic Technology Co. Ltd. Actualmente es miembro del Consejo de Administración de Barbieri & Tarozzi Ibérica S.L.Después de dos mandatos como Vicepresidente de la Asociación de Fabricantes Italianos de Maquinaria y Equipo para Cerámica, fue elegido Presidente de dicha Asociación por un período de cuatro años en junio de 2012. En febrero de 2015 ocupa el cargo de Presidente de Ancora S.p.A., a raíz de la integración en el grupo Siti-B & T.Actualmente ocupa el cargo de Vicepresidente en Federmeccanica, en su segundo mandato.
